Vibeke Sødring Elbrønd

Vibeke Sødring Elbrønd, DVM, PhD, graduated as a veterinarian in 1988 from the Royal Vet. and
Agricultural University, now Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Vibeke
was certified in veterinary chiropractic (IVCA) in 2009 and veterinary acupuncture (IVAS) in 2017.
Vibeke has a small specialised veterinary practice in which she treats both, large and small animals, with
a focus on the body as a whole, with direct and indirect manual techniques and acupuncture. Vibeke
has been employed at the University of Copenhagen since 1988. Since 2011, Vibeke has focused her main
interest on functional anatomy with special focus on fascia and myofascia, both in her teaching and her
academic research. Vibeke lectures internationally.

 

Tove Due

Tove Due, DVM, graduated as a veterinarian in1990 from the Royal Vet. and Agricultural University.
Tove worked in a mixed practice treating all types of species for the first 10 years, and was certified in
veterinary acupuncture (IVAS) in 1994. Subsequently, Tove developed considerable interest in acupunctureand now supplemented conventional medicine as often as possible. Tove started her own practice in 2000, initially with only complementary medicine, primarily acupuncture treatment in horses with performance problems. In 2001, she took an International Acupuncture training course in Nanjing, China. In the following year, Tove completed a training course in IKC, International Kinesiology Touch for health instructors, followed by an osteopathy course at the International School of Equine Osteopathy in 2003, where she was taught by Pascal Evrard (ISEO). Since 2006, Tove has undertaken courses in the osteopathic functional indirect technique. Besides these skills, Tove became certified in Human Classical Chinese acupuncture in 2008 and more recently, in 2016, she was certified in veterinary homeopathy. Over the last few years, Tove has developed and tested her own acupuncture system to treat myofascial lines in horses and dogs, being highly inspired and encouraged by Rikke M. Schultz and Vibeke Sødring Elbrønd. Tove lectures internationally.

Rikke Mark Schultz

Rikke Mark Schultz, DVM, graduated as a veterinarian in 1992 from the Royal Vet. and Agricultural
University. Rikke was certified in veterinary acupuncture (IVAS) in 1997, equine osteopathy (Pascal Evrard, ISEO) in 2003, and in veterinary homeopathy in 2016. From 2006, Rikke has undertaken courses in the osteopathic functional indirect technique. From 1992 to 1997, Rikke had a mixed practice in Island after which she worked until 2006 at Hørsholm Equine practice in Denmark. From 2006 to
the present day, she has her own holistic equine practice where she treats horses from most of the equestrian sports, albeit mainly those with performance problems. Since 2011, Rikke has participated in anatomical research at the Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, where she also occasionally teaches and examines Vet and Animal Science students. She lectures internationally.
